Sponsor, Exhibit or Take One Page in the Leaflet
Sometimes you need to decide whether to sponsor an event or simply set up a booth there. Attending an event can cost from 100 to 1000 dollars or more. Take a closer look at the event: the type of audience, whether these people visit websites or it is better to print the catalog, whether different media advertise the event and how seriously they cover it. After gathering such information, depending on the budget and the feedback you get, you can decide to attend as a sponsor, as an exhibitor, or just have one page in the leaflet of that event.
Sometimes we suggest to companies neither to set up a booth nor to sponsor, but to present themselves only on one page of the special leaflet, because their business is such that they do not have enough energy and time to set up a booth and they do not want to spend on sponsorship either. All the visitors are supposed to read that magazine, so it would be as if the company had a booth there.
There is a printing house in Canada that has defined all its plans in recent years to attend exhibitions that encompass its target market. In a short period of time, this printing house became one of the five largest printing houses in the country.
To succeed, you need to attend various exhibitions, but there is another requirement: having your own event. Determine some times throughout the year and hold events in the spaces you possess or in common spaces with other businesses. You can do a joint project with a company that has a wide space available and hold a common exhibition, because you have separate businesses but common customers. Do not simply seek to sell more at events. The highest function of an event is branding. For branding, the seminar does not necessarily need to concern your business; people will attend and notice your brand.
