Google Ads, Click Costs and the Landing Page

When you are not on the first page of Google, it is as if you do not exist at all. Suppose you work as a rice supplier. When I, as a customer, search for rice supplying companies, you will not be on my checklist if I do not find your company name on the first page of the results. Advertising will only be a waste of money if the target market is not defined.

One method of budgeting is to say that we can spend $240 a month, which is equivalent to $8 a day. If each click costs 10 cents, 80 people can click on your advertisement. Your occupation may be photography in Toronto. Google states that 20 photographers from Toronto currently intend their advertisements to be displayed; therefore, instead of 10 cents, you must pay $5 per click. That cost can sometimes rise to $10, and then you cannot afford it anymore. In this competition, the winner is the one who selects the right keywords, the words based on which your customers can find you.

Once we defined a campaign for advertising our company on Google, and every click cost around seven or eight dollars. To our surprise, we woke up every morning and saw that one of our rivals, along with his family and acquaintances, had clicked on the restricted number we had set. Of course, now Google has created restrictions that do not allow one person to click on an advertisement several times.

Another important point is to have a landing page. The landing page can save your online advertisements. When you place an advertisement, there should be a link on it that leads to an attractive page. If you mention a 30% discount in your advertisement, as soon as the audience clicks on it, ensure they are directed to the discount page so the person can be immediately attracted.
