Free Online Directories and Classified Sites

There are one or several online business directories in every country. You can google the phrase "online business directory" plus the name of the country you want and you will have access to the directories of that country. For example, there are the Yellow Pages in North America. Use Google to identify online business directories in your target market and introduce your business in them. Beside the local directories of your target market, make an effort to put your business in Google business directories and some other major ones. You should understand that 99% of business directories are free. Register the features of your business in all of these directories patiently and carefully. Then the name of your business will be seen in Google search results.

Here is an applicable formula: enter the address of each of these directories in an Excel file. In that file, register the name and internet address of the directory, the division under which you saved your information, and, if the directory requires it, your username and password.

You need to update your page in online directories periodically. Some of these directories have certain rules; for example, they may delete your information after a specific time, such as a year. Some directories allow side activities such as adding special sales offers and putting the catalog on the page. Use these resources to the maximum.

Classified sites work the same way. The famous American example is Craigslist and another is Kijiji. No classified site can cover the entire world; even a website with international services has localized versions in every region. Generally, people's priority is to use local websites. 99% of such sites are free, and you can have free ads in many sections. You can decide to place paid ads depending on your budget and the features of the website.
