Building the Funnel: A Chamber for Travelling in Time
The large old basement seemed ruined apparently but now entering it, a power of semi-living object was working; allthe doors and windows had been connected to a computer. Tom after thinking a little drew a plan of a multi-covered small chamber in different alloys supposed to be a funnel on a paper. They ran and analyzed it on the monitor and after some modification. The structural plan became ready.
Some days they spent on the development and build up. In this period, Tom was working on the next requirements and the equipment needed for the time travel.
"Nicole, how do you see it?" asked Tom thoughtfully.
"Great, but what about the fuel?"
Tom smiled and was explaining it eagerly in a childish manner. It was an interesting discussion. Nicole asked and replied Tom fondly.
"This small machine which carries two people uses several fuels, solar energy, water and air. It can generate electricity that can be useful."
"How could it be possible for it to move into water?"
"Very simple, when you are driving it, pressing a special button, a covering from two sides isolates it and the machine can travel on the surface even in some deep it can travel."
"What wonderful! What else needed? Oh a rifle for hunting or possibly self-defense."
Right, a powerful weapon we need, some pictures and documents of early men and symbols they had left too."
"What for?"
"May we meet them, how to say what we want? I think, this is the way."
Breathing deeply, smiled Tom victoriously.
"Well, now these are all ready, one or two robots we can take," told Tom.
"But how?" continued Nicole anxiously.
"What how?"
"What do you mean by that?" I mean how to take, how to travel?" asked Nicole hurriedly and in an exciting manner. "Well, through funnel, it will be ready in few days and we have the experiment done in it. We will make it undoubtedly."
"God willing!"
The funnel was made. A multi-covered chamber that was isolated from sound, ray and light. Like a mirror, it shone. A beam could lighten it as bright as day by counter- reflections. The doors were controlled by a computer. To avoid problem, the computer was installed in it. A lot of money spent on the plan and only Nicole's father could afford it. If he couldn't make it, his shame against Nicole's father would cause him sufficiently to drop it, anyway all the requirements were ready for travel.
